Establishments in Chino Valley include such diverse selections as A&P Oriental Express, Aroma Pizza, Big Daddy E’s BBQ & Catering, Bonn-Fire Chillin’ and Grillin’, Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant, The Checkered Apron Bakery and Café, Gabby’s Kitchen and Overflow Coffee, along with fast food choices of McDonald’s, Taco Bell/Kentucky Fried Chicken, Sonic Drive-In and Little Caeser’s Pizza.

Wine-tasting, fresh food and live entertainment can be found year-round at Granite Creek Vineyards in Chino Valley, selected as one of Arizona’s 50 best places to visit. Granite Creek was the first farm in Arizona to be Certified Organic and today is one of only a handful of wineries in the United States that makes Certified Organic Wines without any added sulfites. Every Saturday afternoon from April through November, visitors can taste an array of Award-Winning wines and order lunch or dinner from the seasonally-inspired menu, all while listening to live music from some of Arizona's best musicians.

The Garchen Institute Retreat Center attracts over 500 visitors to Chino Valley with their summer and winter teachings.  Nestled in the forested foothills near the mountains surrounding Prescott with spectacular panoramic views of the red cliffs of Sedona, the San Francisco peaks, and Chino Valley, Arizona the Garchen Institute Retreat Center offers a setting of extraordinary natural beauty. Garchen Institute facilities are available for individual or group retreats, workshops, classes, weddings, memorial and award ceremonies.

The buildings are wheel-chair accessible. All buildings are heated and evaporative cooled. The Garchen Institute produces its own electricity from solar-panels with generator back-up, and provides water from its own well.

Enjoy our area’s wide open spaces, trails, ranch lands and streams, and make the most of your adventure by first visiting the Chino Valley Ranger District. Your choices for area attractions are plentiful, from golf at Antelope Hills Golf Course to a night of gambling at Bucky’s and Yavapai Casinos in Prescott. Visit the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary to see a variety of exotic and rescued animals or the Highlands Center for Natural History for an education on local plant life. Choose a concert or show at the Yavapai College Performance Hall, be entranced by Native American art and culture at the Smoki Museum or view art and historical items of the American West at the Phippen Museum.

Community events include the annual 4th of July celebration sponsored by the Town of Chino Valley, complete with fireworks, food and music, and Labor Day’s Territorial Days which includes a parade, vendors and family fun.
