The Phippen Museum can be found just a few miles south of Chino Valley. The Phippen Museum is dedicated to
perpetuating the unique heritage, mythology, and influence of American Western art. The Phippen provides exhibits and
educational and outreach programs. The Sharlot Hall Museum, the largest museum in the central territory of Arizona, is
committed to preserving and exploring human and natural history. The Smoki Museum of Indian Art and Culture contains a large collection of prehistoric, historic and contemporary pottery, jewelry, kachina dolls and more. There is also an impressive art gallery and an extensive library collection focusing on Native American prehistory and ethnography.
The community has a complete library. which is the fifth-largest public library in the county. The library offers children’s activities. and has an online database linked with other libraries in the county. Yavapai College presents arts events year-round. bringing popular entertainment from top-quality performing artists. Professional entertainers and artists from across the globe provide theatre. dance. music and comedy performances certain to impress audiences.

Arizona Adrenaline Football Club begins its inaugural season in 2008. Several theaters offer first-run movies and Bucky’s Casino provides non-stop gaming action. The Yavapai County Fairgrounds hosts horse racing. stock-car racing and other events and festivals throughout the year.
